The Federal Social Club

A members-only club where everyone chips in — and every month, the membership votes to send a piece of the pot home with three of their own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★

The Federal Social Club is a group of private members. Everyone pays the same monthly dues, and at the end of every month, 60% of what we collect goes to three members chosen by a vote of the membership. The remaining 40% covers what it takes to run and maintain the club.

It's a simple idea: show up, kick in, look out for each other. Over time the winners change, the friendships deepen, and the club takes care of its own.

An example of what a monthly pot could look like. Actual amounts grow with membership.
01

Everyone Pays In

Every member pays $35 in monthly dues. 60% of every dollar collected goes back to the membership through the monthly vote. The other 40% keeps the lights on.

02

Everyone Votes

Each member casts three votes for three different people. You can't vote for yourself. One member, three ballots, every month.

03

Top Three Win

The three members with the most votes split the prize pool evenly — 20% of total dues to each. Ties get settled by a coin flip.

Built for the long haul

Sixty percent of every dollar collected goes directly to the membership through the monthly vote. The remaining forty percent is what makes the club more than a one-month event — it builds something members can grow with year after year.

Below is a plain accounting of how operating funds may be allocated. The board reviews the budget regularly and reports back to the membership.

01

Member Events

Monthly mixers, dinners, holiday gatherings, and member-of-the-month celebrations. The club exists to bring people together.

02

Clubhouse & Venues

Saving toward a permanent clubhouse or members' lounge, plus rental costs for monthly meetings and events in the meantime.

03

Reserve & Investments

A growing reserve fund and conservative investments that compound over time — building generational stability for the club.

04

Member Projects

Grants and seed funding for member-led initiatives — small businesses, community service, charity drives, and creative projects.

05

Operating Costs

The unglamorous essentials: website hosting, payment processing fees, accounting, legal counsel, insurance, and software.

06

Staff & Stipends

Modest stipends for the volunteers and staff who keep the club running — running a club well takes real, ongoing effort.

Transparency by design. Every quarter, the club publishes a financial summary showing exactly how operating funds were spent. Members can request a full ledger at any time.
